Emily Skye is an award-winning writer, director, and cinematographer whose work blends emotional intimacy with cinematic scale. Her films explore love, identity, and transformation through a visually poetic, character-driven lens—balancing auteur sensibility with strong audience appeal.
Her short film River, shot in May 2020, gained widespread recognition after its release on DUST, where it has surpassed 5 million views. Emily most recently directed and edited the Tubi Original thriller Married to a Baller, adapted from the novel. Released on November 21, 2024, the film reached #1 on the platform within 36 hours. Its immediate success resulted in the greenlight of Married to a Baller 2, slated for release as a Tubi Original on November 21, 2026.
She is currently preparing two upcoming features: Salt Flats, a sci-fi romantasy centered on star-crossed reincarnated love, and Significance, both scheduled to enter production in 2026.
