Emily Skye is an award winning film director and cinematographer, who shot her short film "River" May 2020 and is currently on DUST with over 5 million views, which opened the doors for her debut feature on "River" (released July 13th 2021 by Gravitas Ventures), she filmed September 2020, during the pandemic.

 

Emily just finished directing and editing her latest feature film a Fox Tubi original, which is a highly anticipated thriller titled "Married to a Balla" based on a novel,  released November 21, 2024.

After the success of TUBI ORIGINAL "Married to a Balla" the sequel was filmed May 2025 and released November 2025 which also hit number 1.

Currently, Emily is about to film her next Sci-fi Romantasy which begins filming Jan 2026, soon following worldwide best selling book series "Significance".

Emily is also a Global Brand Ambassador for LUMIX Panasonic, SmallHD, Wooden Camera and Teradek. She also has partnered with RED on multiple projects, speaking at their REDucations.
